Come see the Madeleine Meunier Collection in Paris

In my new role as European Director of the African and Oceanic Art department of Christie’s, I’ve somewhat become a kind of public figure. So it was bound to happen I would be photoshopped someday. I recently did a feature for our very popular “5 minutes with” series on the Christie’s website – see it here – which managed to go viral on social media, ending by my face being replaced by the that of the US’s president-elect. It’s too funny not to share 🙂  For the record, I did request to put the headrest, and not me, central – unfortunately to no avail.

Anyhow, the exhibition of the Madeleine Meunier collection is now up on view at Christie’s Paris and it looks splendid. One can truly feel the spirit of Aristide Courtois and Charles Ratton in the show. We’re all very proud. There are five more days left to see the preview:

At Christie’s HQ Avenue Matignon:
Sunday 11 December: 10am-2pm
Monday 12 December: 10am-6pm
Tuesday 13 December: 10am-2pm

Then the show moves to Drouot, where it is on view:
Wednesday 14 December: 11am-6pm
Thursday 15 December: 11am-2pm

The sale is that same Thursday 15 December, at 18h30 at Hôtel Drouot. See the objects and leave a bid here. Do take note this is a no-reserve sale; we wish to sell everything. Don’t hesitate to contact me if I can be of any assistance.
